David Attard as Jerry Scheff

Dave has been performing in bands since the age of 14. Thanks to his older brothers and their musical tastes, he was exposed to bands such as U2, Queen, and Led Zeppelin. It was only a couple of years later that he discovered the music of The Doors. Upon seeing the Oliver Stone movie, his love for the band grew even more.

Since then, Dave has made the musician's pilgrimage to Los Angeles to visit Doors fan sites such as The Whisky Au Go Go and Venice Beach. He has spent the last 20 years performing in "The U2 Show Achtung Baby", and also in Coldplay tribute "Viva Coldplay". He has performed in:

  • cruise ships
  • casinos
  • theatres

and even headlined major festivals alongside performers such as Mahalia Barnes and Mark Mitchell.

He's played live numerous times on radio station "Triple M".

Dave's favourite Doors song

  • Although it's virtually impossible to pick just one, it would be "The Crystal Ship" and "Indian Summer"

Dave’s favourite Doors album

  • L.A Woman at the moment..it varies depending on what he’s currently listening to..

Dave’s favourite Doors song to perform

  • The Changeling. The groove is killer!

Dave holds down the low end with precision and groove, capturing the iconic bass lines of Larry Knechtel/Doug Lubahn/Harvey Brooks/Jerry Scheff’s (and other bass players who played on The Doors studio albums) and providing the solid foundation upon which the band’s sound is built.
